Which cable setup is right for me?
Tethered gives you a permanently attached cable for quick daily use. Untethered lets you use your own Type 2 cable. Both offer smart home charging; the choice comes down to your parking setup and preference.
Will it work with my electric car?
Seven Pro uses Type 2 AC charging. Check your vehicle’s connector and onboard AC charging limit. The speed you get depends on the car as well as your home’s electrical supply.
Do I need solar panels or an EV tariff?
No. You can charge using a standard electricity tariff. Solar integration and off-peak scheduling give you additional options when your home setup and tariff support them. Solar monitoring needs to be configured by your installer.
What can I do in the VCHRGD Home app?
Schedule and authorise charging, monitor live sessions, review charging history and estimated costs, manage solar settings and access help. The app is free to download and use.
Do I have to use Frasers Plus?
No. You can pay in full through Revolut using your debit or credit card, Revolut Pay, Apple Pay or Google Pay, with available methods shown at checkout. Frasers Plus is an optional credit product; approval is subject to status. Choose a 3 month plan for 0% interest, or 6, 12, 24 or 36 months with interest. Review the terms and select your plan in the Frasers Plus app.
How is my installation confirmed?
Your pre-check gives an initial estimate. After checkout, complete the digital survey so the team can review your property and confirm the installation scope. Any additional work or revised costs are discussed with you before installation goes ahead.
